Darren, a New Berlin West product, received a degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Nutrition from UW-Stevens Point.

He participated in football, wrestling, and track while at New Berlin West.

Darren played adult amateur football for the Kenosha Vikings (2002-2004), Wausau Panthers, and Wisconsin Wolfpack (2007-2008). He is currently a member of the Bulldogs, an independent indoor football team.
